Naivety World Productions is an independent storytelling company creating films, audio experiences, written work, and creative projects that explore the complexity of the human experience.
We are interested in the stories people carry, the relationships that shape them, the choices that define them, and the moments that alter the course of their lives.
Our work spans multiple mediums but remains grounded in a shared belief: storytelling has the power to deepen understanding, foster empathy, and create meaningful connections between people.
Through film, audio, writing, and collaborative projects, we create work that invites audiences to engage more thoughtfully with themselves, each other, and the world around them.

Founder
Margaret Gathenya is a Kenyan writer, filmmaker, producer, and strategist.
She founded Naivety World Productions as a home for stories that explore the inner lives of people that shape relationships, choices, and identity.
Through Naivety World Productions, she develops film and narrative projects across multiple themes and forms. Through Naivety World, she builds a public space for reflection, conversation, and community around love, intimacy, and emotional honesty.
