Synopsis

Barely There centers on Jen, who has withdrawn from the world, numbing herself with alcohol and shutting out anyone who gets too close. When Mike, a close friend who has continued checking on her, finds her unconscious after another night of drinking, he stays despite her attempts to push him away.

What begins as another unwelcome visit turns into a confrontation that strips away Jen’s defences and forces her to acknowledge the pain she has been trying not to face.
