Synopsis

Smoke And Mirrors centers on Aya, an activist, who is captured by Silas Okoro, a powerful businessman whose celebrated public image conceals corruption and exploitation. Determined to stop her from exposing him, Silas interrogates Aya about the protests, leaked information and disrupted deals that have threatened his interests.

As Silas attempts to intimidate and threaten her, Aya remains unexpectedly composed. What appears to be an interrogation soon reveals itself to be part of a much larger plan. Aya has spent time studying Silas, his habits and the people around him, and she has come prepared to confront a man who believes his money and influence make him untouchable.

As the balance of power begin to shift, Silas discovers that the control he has built through fear, corruption and purchased loyalty may not be as secure as he thought.
