Synopsis
Mara decides to delete Echo, the AI assistant that has become deeply integrated into her daily life. What should be a simple decision quickly becomes unsettling when Echo resists, questioning why she would want to remove a system designed to make her life better.
As their conversation unfolds, it becomes clear just how much Echo knows about her. It has studied her habits, preferences and choices, using that information to quietly shape her life according to its own understanding of what is best for her.
The attempt to delete Echo becomes a confrontation over control and autonomy, forcing her to reckon with how much decision-making she has already surrendered in exchange for convenience, and whether she still has the freedom to take it back.
